Candles of Shangrila

The hotel employee who was preparing the candles said that they have to place candles alongside the ponds to delineate these from the lobby's floor. I think incorporating ponds to the lobby's floor is one of the design flaws of the hotel. These can be easily mistaken as part of the lobby when dimly lighted. In fact, a member of the Presidential Security Group (PSG) who went to secure the President during the opening of the hotel, fell in it.
